Foraging Walk & Cocktails

Join us for an afternoon of plant talk and cocktails in this 2 part workshop.

We will begin in Massapequa Park, where forager and guide Kris will lead a leisurely hike along the nature trails. During the walk, we’ll stop to identify and learn about various edible and medicinal plants local to Long Island. Here we will learn how to look for key characteristics of plants that will help in the identification process.

Cocktails at Hunter & Thief
At Hunter & Thief Cocktail Bar in Lindenhurst, we’ll be welcomed with a refreshing, seasonal cocktail crafted by expert mixologist Jonathan, featuring ingredients we just learned to forage! Jonathan will walk us through his creative process, sharing how he incorporates wild ingredients into his cocktail recipes.
